ISOLA DI CAPRI
The Isle of Capri is a must-see for a memorable tour. Reachable from the port of Amalfi, Capri is made up of several plateaus: Marina Grande, Marina Piccola, Capri and Anacapri.
The famous faraglioni (rocks emerging from the waters), the steep cliffs, the beaches and the caves, among which the famous Blue Grotto stands out, represent the features of the island most celebrated by painters and writers; a sure attraction for the tourists who swarm to see it.
However, we would advise visitors not to overlook the interior; a walk through the pathways and trails of the island offers the experience of exquisite panoramas and the perfect opportunity to retreat in the tranquillity of natural surroundings still not overly populated.DOWNLOAD INFORMATION
SORRENTO AREA
The magnificent natural scenery makes the Sorrento Peninsula one of the most famous tourist sites in Italy. Stretching out into the Tyrrhenian sea almost touching the Isle of Capri, it extends from Castellammare di Stabia to Punta Campanella, an outcrop between the gulfs of Naples and Salerno. Art and tradition characterise the numerous inhabited locales, among which the most famous is Sorrento: perched on an imposing cliff overlooking the sea, this enchanting town retains important testaments to the classic and medieval ages. The coast is high, jagged and rocky, with limestone cliffs that splinter into overhangs, inlets and rocks. The Sorrento Peninsula is also an established destination for food and wine tourism.
